The Blank Canvas: Prepping Our VeeDub ReDub Beetle

Hey VeeDub ReDub enthusiasts!

We're back with another update on the VeeDub ReDub project, and this time we're focusing on the bodywork and paint process. We know that the exterior is just as important as what's under the hood, so we wanted to share the journey from raw metal to a sleek, glossy finish.

While we're not professional body guys, we rolled up our sleeves and tackled the bodywork ourselves. We sanded, filled, and primed the body to achieve a decent finish so our prototype will look good on the road. Check out these in-progress shots that show the effort that went into getting our Beetle ready for its transformation:

Once the body was prepped, we went ahead and applied a gloss white paint to give it a fresh and clean look. This white finish is like a blank canvas, ready for us to get creative with any color schemes, decals, or wraps we choose to add in the future.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to build and refine our VeeDub ReDub prototype!
